Since 2019, Byn has helped FM Mattsson Group produce its annual and sustainability reports. Initially a purely design assignment, the collaboration has developed over time.

FM Mattsson Group is the parent company of several prominent Nordic and European brands for bathroom and kitchen solutions: FM Mattsson, Mora Armatur, Damixa, etc. Based in Mora in Dalarna, the company controls sales and manufacturing for all European markets in which it operates.

In recent years, Byn has helped produce the company’s annual report – an important story for all stakeholders. The scope has varied, but it has been a product of around 100 pages with both front and back carriages.

Proofreading has been handled via CtrlPrint – a smooth way to collaborate that creates clarity and efficiency.

Over the years, we have adapted the annual report more and more to fit the digital format, including by moving from portrait to landscape format and giving the report a clickable table of contents to easily navigate the document.

FM Mattsson Group operates in an industry full of stylish environmental images on designed faucets and inviting bathroom environments, which made the layout work rewarding.

In 2022, FM Mattsson developed a new graphic profile, which gave us the opportunity to further enhance the appearance of the annual report. At the same time, the assignment was expanded to help with text work. We were also assigned to develop a new website from scratch based on the new graphic profile and our work with the annual reports.

Almost everything FM Mattsson Group does has to do with water, one of the world’s most important resources. Through its brands, the company has a great opportunity, and a great responsibility, to make a difference.

It has therefore become increasingly important to highlight the company’s strategy in a clear and transparent way. We have done this by visualizing the company’s focus areas, showing the value chain and providing clear examples of how they work with water conservation, waste management and other things.

In terms of text, Byn has contributed texts to the entire campaign, not least by bringing to life examples of various projects around Europe where FM Mattsson’s various brands have contributed to sustainable development.
