Campaign for Länsförsäkringar Östgöta
Ahead of Länsförsäkringar Östgöta’s 175th anniversary celebration, Byn was tasked with developing ideas and concepts that in different ways highlight and manifest the company’s sustainability work. Inspired by the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour and Länsförsäkringar’s own damage prevention, we organized Sweden’s Largest Fire Exercise for a week in October.

The village was responsible for the idea, campaign concept, web design, content production, and campaign execution in various channels. It was especially fun that just before the week, Swedish Radio P4 devoted an entire morning broadcast to the theme of fire drills, including interviews with listeners.

Winner Agda 2017 – Marketer of the Year
With the campaign Sweden’s Largest Fire Drill, Byn and Länsförsäkringar Östgöta won the prestigious award Marketer of the Year in Östergötland in Agda 2017. The award is the competition’s largest and therefore also the most prestigious.

Before the campaign, 15% of the primary target group of families with children had practiced at home.
During the peak week of the campaign, this figure had increased to an amazing 70%.
