An exciting workplace

The Östergötland County Administrative Board is one of the country’s most exciting workplaces, with a large and important mission. But not everyone understands that. That’s why they asked for help in formulating and visualizing a new employer brand.

After workshops with the customer, we identified four main strengths that few other workplaces can match one by one, and which are completely unique overall:

  1. Social benefit
Those who work at the County Administrative Board truly contribute to society both functioning and developing
  2. The cutting edge and the breadth
The combination of the sharpest cutting edge knowledge and the very broad mission is completely unique in government-run Sweden
  3. The variety
Working at the County Administrative Board is an exciting mix of hands-on work and long-term strategic work
  4. The benefits
The state takes care of its own, as they say. Security, flexibility and a range of great benefits await

Used broadly and narrowly

We wanted to express this in a useful headline and in a visual expression based on the existing graphic profile.

The result was the employer brand:

Visually, we chose to work with images of people in action out in the real world. We started from the existing graphic profile, but added mood-creating elements in the form of “tape strips”.

The concept included:

  • Visual toolbox
  • Message platform
  • Content suggestions for both external and internal communication
  • Visual examples
  • Channel strategies

Used for recruitment

The messaging platform is now used on the County Administrative Board’s career pages and the concept appears in a number of job advertisements for exciting positions.

It is also used to build pride and spread knowledge internally at the County Administrative Board.
