An attractive employer

Sopra Steria is a global IT group where Byn’s mission has been to elevate the company as an innovation partner to clients in business and public sector – but also as an employer.

Byn’s previous campaigns for the IT consulting giant Sopra Steria have received a lot of attention and are well-liked by employees internally at the company.

For the 2019 branding work, the company wanted to continue building on the clear idea of ​​questions and text graphics, but add “something new”. And just as before, the communication would do two jobs: attract new customers in selected industries, but also attract new employees.

The idea process

In Byn’s idea process, a multitude of ideas arise, both possible and impossible to implement. Everything is then boiled down to a few tracks and variants that feel reasonable to work on further. In this case, we landed on a visual track with different camera angles and puzzle pieces that show how complex a good digitalization solution can be. And behind it all are Sopra Steria’s talented employees.

In a rough, industrial environment, the camera starts in an intermediate position between Sopra Steria and the customer’s world. The camera then moves so that the fragments of the customer’s reality in the room are joined into a whole. The image shows the issues that the customer faces and then the camera angle changes so that the image is again divided to show how Sopra Steria stands behind the solutions.

A scale test was done in the office to check that the calculations were correct and that it was possible.

And this is the result

In total, we made eight films with four different themes that ran on repeat during the fall of 2019. Both moving and still images were produced in order to be able to take the concept further to other media, which in this campaign included moving banners and trade fair materials.
