New style for the city's coziest neighborhood
Since Byn started in 2012, we have been located in Knäppingsborg, Norrköping’s coziest neighborhood, full of unique shops and restaurants. In the fall of 2018, we were commissioned by the property owner Castellum to clarify Knäppingsborg’s identity and create communication with the aim of attracting more visitors to the neighborhood.




How we captured the feeling of the neighborhood
When working on the new identity, we focused on Knäppingsborg’s unique blend of history, quality, authenticity and sustainability. The result was a new graphic profile that reflects the special feeling of the neighborhood with color and shape. We also developed a simple message platform and the tagline “A feeling to preserve”.












The coziest alleys, the most unique shops, the most exciting taste adventures. Knäppingsborg is a place that has something to tell – about history, the present and the future, where quality, authenticity and experience come first.


The new color scheme goes tone-in-tone with the beautiful facades in the neighborhood.




A new way to tell the story of the city’s coziest neighborhood
Based on the neighborhood’s new visual identity and messaging style, we built a new way to tell the story of everything that happens in the neighborhood, via content marketing in social media, in posters and advertising, and not least in how the area works with events.
We also created a new website for Knäppingsborg, in collaboration with Hamrén web agency. We think it turned out both nice and tasty.
The goal was to make the people of Norrköping understand what a unique gem lies here between the Industrial Landscape and the city. So that more people can take the feeling home with them.
