A podcast about Linköping's innovative people and technology

Linköping was recently named Europe’s most innovative city. This certainly doesn’t surprise us at Byn – as we have had the opportunity to go in depth with several of the tech profiles that have put – and will put – Linköping on the world map.

In the podcast TechRide, our own Anders Hofvergård, together with the partner and researcher Diana Saleh, opens the door to one of Linköping’s famous autonomous buses and welcomes a steady stream of profiles who all have technological innovation in common in one way or another.
Using a self-driving bus as a recording studio set the tone for the podcast series – many of the guests immediately felt comfortable in our den.

Tight episodes with nutritious content.

The idea behind the episodes was that the episode length could be suitable for an average commute in Östergötland (like 25 minutes). In the end, some episodes ended up being a little shorter and others a little longer. The focus was on creating as much nutritious content as possible in each episode. The special episode with Carl Heath, where we talked about digital resilience, however, had to take the time it took.

How we worked

Byn was responsible for the idea and concept. Then, with the help of the client, we came up with suggestions for episode content and layout. Then, we took care of all production planning, including contact with interviewees, filming location, editing (thanks to Johan at Sitcom Collective). We recorded the talks separately in Sitcom’s studio.
