Directors' report and annual accounts combined
A digital corporate report, built according to the company’s new brand identity, which can also be used as an appealing company presentation. When we produced Stångåstaden’s digital annual report for the fourth year, we made sure to step things up a notch.
When Byn was first tasked with helping with Stångåstaden’s annual report in 2017, it was a substantial printed document we created. Since then, we’ve gradually worked to broaden the target audience and make it accessible through new channels. The 2021 version is the fourth consecutive one to be entirely digital.
The aim this time was to create a product that served as an operational review of the past year, but also as a company presentation. It was also intended to be the first proper showcase for Stångåstaden’s new brand identity, which Byn had developed. This included the entire visual design, incorporating a new logo, new fonts, and a new image library, as well as the messaging.
Based on this, we wanted to create a fresh, inspiring, interactive, and easy-to-navigate annual report, which with a few simple clicks could also be used as a tailored presentation of the company and its operations.
The theme became “The Future” – to showcase the company’s forward movement and to align with the new brand promise: “The Future lives here.”
To also function as a company presentation, we put in extra effort on the navigation and layout. The layout is dynamic with two modes – one with concise information suitable for a presentation, and one with more in-depth information, graphics and fact boxes.
Integrated and easily accessible within the annual report are also its appendices, each with its own subpage linked to the directors’ report.
